President Obama in the Cuse. So what was it like? The crowd was kept cool in the sweltering gym with the cool sounds of the Henninger High jazz band. Every tease at the lectern would bring and oooh and aaah from the crowd. The anticipation heightened after the dignitaries returned from their private meeting with the Pres. After over 3 hours passed. The moment had arrived. Magically, through the blue curtains President Obama appeared on stage, cameras, tablets, cell phones ready, then a crescendo of applause and screams, with the president strutting to the stage in denim cool, khaki pants, his voice showing a little wear and tear from the day. Still, you could clearly see through the way he owned the room my President has got swag, and as smooth as he appears. And nobody seemed to care about how long they waited or how hot it was. Oh yeah, he wants to make college affordable too, touted Say Yes, and wants colleges to have their federal aid tied to a rating system. Tomorrow, I head to Washington to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1963 March. We must keep hope alive.
