The resident progressive loves mixing it up with the listeners. As anchor and producer and host of “The George Kilpatrick Show, he shares perspectives on a variety of local, regional and national issues, His awards in radio include the Syracuse Press Club, and the Onondaga County Medical Society for service to medical care. For nearly a decade he hosted Dr. “On Call” giving listeners direct access to physicians.
George also hosts, “New Inspiration for the Nation” on sister station WHEN- AM. The show brings Kilpatrick’s mission inspiration front and center as he talks with nationally-recognized guests such about success, motivation, and positive role models within the African American community. For over a decade, George anchored and produced programming for PBS WCNY-TV, for which he received a number of awards including the Silver Telly, and New York State Broadcaster’s Association Award for best public affairs program. Throughout his work as a producer, host, creator and writer in the fields of radio, television, and documentary film-making, his mission has remained consistent – to uplift his listeners/viewers and inspire them. He is a NY Knick fanatic, and also loves the Syracuse Orange, Yankees, and NY Football Giants. He is extremely passionate about his family, and the proud father of four.
