.....the fear of being without a mobile phone. Almost 50% of us have that problem. Got a segment on it coming up this morning on the morning news program.
It's pretty clear we're a society that's totally reliant on our phones for just about everything. And many of us are wired and tired because we're always connected. I mean really, do we really have to talk ,text, and tweet when we're taking a shower or having sex?
I wonder how many friendships have drastically changed since Facebook and smartphones have overtaken our lives? I think it's pretty tough to form meaningful frienships now....it's all about the phone. How mentally weak are we that we are addicted to a phone? An object? Will you mess with your smartphone when you're on your death bed? Or maybe we'll just tweet about our parent dying because it's more important to give everybody and their brother an update every 2 minutes than be "present" with our dying parent.
