Probably. Do you care? That's up to you.
Unless you've been away or are totally disinterested, our government is apparently spying on almost every digital thing that passes through the optical fiber highways that affect our lives. Want to prevent it? Here are some tips from some of the most intelligent geeks out there:
--Stop using social networks...OMG are you kidding me? The government has direct access to Facebook, Microsoft and Google servers, so you should stop using them. I'll believe it when I see it.
--Surf using HTTPS...If you use Chrome of Firefox, you should install the add-on. HTTPS is an encrypted form of HTTP. It should help.
--Create an alternate identity...it's one of the best ways for the government to have a tough time tracking you--the use a proxy or VPN to hide your location. Very mysterious!
--Encrypt your phone calls, or use a "burner phone"...it'll probably work, but they still could use voice analysis to find out where you are.
Good Luck! Now...get lost.
