1-50% of Americans think Facebook is a fad.

2-The IPO asking price is too damn high

3-More than 40% of Americans log onto the site at least once a week. It'a a rare senior citizen on Facebook..21%

4-56% of its' users are young. 55% log on everyday..33% log on multiple times a day.

5-65% of users have no faith Facebook will protect their privacy. (Scary thought). Only 13% trust Facebook to guard their information.

So have fun! I personally think 85% of most Facebook posts are useless. I'm surprised to see so many posts of stuff most people really don't care about. I thought that's what Twitter was for!

Rush Limbaugh showed up in person to be inducted into the "Hall of Famous Missourians" in what was a pretty low-key ceremony. Rush will have a bronze bust in the Capitol alongside the likes of Harry Truman, Mark Twin, Stan Musial, Walt Disney, and George Washington Carver.

A lot of people don't like Rush--in fact, many people despise him. But it's because of Rush and a few other high-profile personalities that a lot of us work on this side of the radio business and have jobs. If Rush hadn't come along, this whole radio format may not have happened. Some call it "hot talk" and some think it's bad for the country. Hey that's OK....go listen to NPR then.

The latest issue of Time will for sure catch your eye when it hits newsstands today.

It's a cover shot of a 26-year old woman brestfeeding her 3-year old son--who's standing up. Obviously you can see that from the picture above. With the title "Are You Mom Enough?", the cover immediately went viral.

One writer predicted the boy, who's the son of the cover mother, might regret this later, saying that she hopes the magazine is planning to pay for this kid's therapy bills.

Time says the photog picked this cover photo because the article is about "attachment parenting" and he said he liked the idea of having the kids standing up to emphasize the point that this was an unusual situation.

The kid is 3 years old? THAT"s what the cover so creepy. They should have enlisted an 18-year old from a reality TV show.

The Senate yesterday didn't approve a bill that would keep federal student loans at their present interest rates for another year. Again postponing debate on what has become a hot issue.

The argument, again, is how to pay for wanting to extend the interest rates at 3.4% instead of raising them to 6.8%. Republicans say there could be higher payroll taxes from SS and Medicare, a non-starter for the GOP.

To be accurate however, the increase would only effect rates for subsidized Stafford loans for undergrads issued after 7/1/2012. Interest rates for existing loans won't change. Point being, this fight isn't quite the battle it's being played out to be.

Let's do the math....the higher interest would play out to be another $22 a month. So how do you get around that? How about a few less double mocha lattes at Starbucks? How about keeping the iPhone you're using now, and not running out to get a new one every time Apple comes out with a "new, improved version"? Priorities folks..priorities.

France just made a left turn over the weekend. That's the hand signal they use over there?

You would be too if your company might be worth $80-billion!!! The young man pictured above is of course Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. The company's IPO is scheduled for May 18th and Facebook has set a price range of $28 to $35. The IPO could make as much as $12-billion.

Hey I use Facebook, but I really can't see the point of it sometimes or how it makes money.Zckerberg has created something the world could live without (one would only hope), but there's no denying that he knows how to make money. But what's he going to do with all that money? Buy another dog?

BTW, why would anyone lie on facebook? They do, but not for some of the reasons you think. People lie on Facebook to protect their privacy. Technically, that's a violation of the site's Terms of Service.

Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out why anybody worried about their privacy would have a facebook page to begin with.
