Village of Fabius, N.Y. - State Police say a person is dead after a crash in the village of Fabius last night:
Troopers say it happened around 9 at the intersection of Route 80 and Ridge Road.
59 year old Daniel Ankers of New Woodstock was riding his motorcycle behind an SUV being driven by 46 year old Hollie Haaf of Manlius and as both approached the intersection the motorcycle began to pass the SUV as it was making a left turn striking the side of the vehicle.
Ankers was thrown from the bike and later died at the hospital.
The investigation is continuing.
