Serial Bank Robber Caught Robbing Same Bank Twice In Dewitt

Dewitt, N.Y. - A serial bank robber was caught Wednesday morning after robbing a DeWitt bank for a second time.

Around 10am Dewitt police got the robbery call at the Key Bank on Tecumseh Road 36 year old Frank Jones, showed a teller a note, took the money and ran on foot. But he was seen inside a vehicle and police gave chase, using stop sticks.

The car stopped on Dewitt Street in Syracuse and Jones ran but was caught. The stolen money was recovered from the suspect.

Dewitt Police say they arrested Jones for robbing the same bank back in 2016.
