Syracuse Expanding Sidewalks To Be Shoveled This Winter

Syracuse, N.Y. - The city of Syracuse is expanding its sidewalk snow removal.

Following a snowfall of three inches or more, the City will now clear 125 miles of walkways, a 25% increase over last winter. The expanded routes include sections of First North and Court Streets on the Northside, Burnet Avenue and East Fayette Street on the Eastside, South State and South Salina Streets on the Southside, and Milton and Park Avenues on the Westside. This is the fourth year the snow removal porgrma has been in effect. All Syracuse City schools are covered under the program.
