Geddes, N.Y. - The Great New York State Fair has announced that starting with the 2022 Fair, there will be no smoking on the majority of the Fairgrounds.
They will ban smoking on nearly the entire Fairgrounds, creating small, designated outdoor smoking areas instead, they say its an effort to increase the comfort of fairgoers.
Smoking is already prohibited by law inside Fairgrounds’ buildings and the Fair organizers have banned it at the Chevy Court and Chevy Park concert venues.
The actual locations for the designated areas are to be determined.
