Cato, N.Y - The Cayuga County Health department has lifted the boil water order for those living in the village of Cato and along Route 370 from Cato to the village of Meridian.
Crews have been working all week on repairing a malfunctioning disinfection unit.
That has been fixed and the water is now satisfactory to drink and use without boiling.
