Another Central New York Beach Closed Due To E.coli

Skaneateles, N.Y. - The Onondaga County Health Department says that the Clift Park Beach located in the Village of Skaneateles is closed to swimming.

That due to high levels of bacteria (E. coli) in the water.

Swimming will not be allowed until bacteria levels return to acceptable levels.

The Health Department will be monitoring the lake water daily until bacteria levels reach acceptable standards and will notify the public when the beach is reopened for swimming.

This comes after Oneida Shores beach in the Town of Cicero was closed due to high levels of E.coli
