New York, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo today speaking for the new Javits Center announced the positivity rate for New York, 1.5%. He said that is less than half of the national average. He said there were 32 deaths in the state in the past 24 hours.
He also announced that from May 24-July 4, Uber and Lyft will be offering free rides to and from vaccination sites across New York.
Cuomo said they are setting up a contest, encouraging regions to develop their own economic recovery plan. He said the state will pick the best and award 750 million dollars to make the plan a reality.
