Governor Cuomo Signs Receational Marijuana Bill Into Law

Albany, N.Y. - With the stroke of his pen Governor Cuomo has made New York the 15th state to legalize recreational marijuana.

The bill was passed by the Senate and Assembly late last night.

The legislation allows New Yorkers over the age of 21 to legally possess under three ounces of marijuana and clears the way for retail sales of the drug to happen in about 18 months.
