A Fifth Candidate For Syracuse Mayor Officially Announces

Syracuse, N.Y. - Another Republican candidate has officially announced today she is running to be the next Mayor of Syracuse.

Janet Burman said her focus will be on creating jobs and working to improve things like potholes, city trash, and snow removal. She also said if she is elected she will focus on public safety and how law enforcement interacts with the community.

Republican Thomas Babilon has already announced that he is running.

Democrats Michale Greene and Khalid Bey are also running to unseat Mayor Ben Walsh.
