Cicero Man Arrested For DWI After Crashing Into Utility Poles, Police Car

North Syracuse, N.Y. - A Cicero man faces a slew of charges, after a crashing into utility poles, and a several cars including a police car.

North Syracuse police officers were making a roadside arrest around 8 when a Dodge Caravan driven by 57 year old Carl Barber hit the patrol car and continued driving.

As Barber drove on he crashed into other cars and several utility poles, causing a widespread power outage.

Officers say Barber was "verbally combative" as he was arrested and will be charged with 13 traffic violations, including DWI.
