Syracuse Police Investgating 3 Homicides, 2 From this Weekend Alone

Syracuse, N.Y. - It was a violent weekend in the city of Syracuse and Syracuse Police are now investaigaitng a total of 3 homicides.

Syracuse Police Chief Kenton Buckner in a press conferance today says up until this weekend things were going well in Syracuse.

The first fatal shooting was called in Saturday evening around 6 in Washington Square Park area. A 24 year old man, died after being shot in the back.

Then a 42 year old man was dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound to his midsection and he also died.

The third death was from a shooting last week on Hudson street. 33 year old Pedro Ayala-Clemente was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He died early today

There were other shooting injuries along with stabbings throughout the weekend none of them serious.
