Onondaga County Sheriffs Identify Officer Involved In Last Week's Shooting

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriffs have identiifed the deputy who was involved in a shooting on Syracuses's Northside last week.

Detective Mark Grady was on patrol when around 11 he saw someone thrown from an SUV on North Salina near Lemoyne Ave.

He followed the SUV and according to Sheriff Gene Conway , the SUV turned onto Commonwealth Ave and as many as four people exited the vehicle and attempted to kill Grady.

The suspects’ car was later found by Syracuse Police with 31 year old Aaron Hudson of Syracuse, inside, unconscious with a gunshot wound. Hudson remains in critical condition.
