Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh Agreeing To Some Protestor Demands

The City of Syracuse is agreeing to some "People's Agenda for Police Reform" protestor demands.

Mayor Ben Walsh responded to the demands of protesters and agreed to seven of the nine. Those include the Right to Know Act, revisions to the use of police force, demilitarizing the Syracuse Police Department, and public oversight of surveillance tech. Walsh also agreed to three other demands, but is seeking clarifications on them.
