Syracuse N.Y. - The man who drove the getaway car after after a shooting that claimed the life of 12 year old James Springer the Third, has been sentenced.
Anthony Rodriguez was sentenced to 54 and 2/3 years to life for the shooting death of the sixth grader, Springer was killed in October of 2018.
The shooting was ordered by Alberto Pinet and Springer was not the intended target.
Pinet took a plea deal and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
