Syracuse Mass Shooting: Non-Profit Executive Director Resigns

After a shooting at a massive party Saturday night where nine people were injured the executive director of the Near Westside Initiative has resigned. The group's President, Sheena Soloman, says that certain policies, "regarding the rental of our facilities were not followed," and they have accepted the resignation of Executive Director Gregorio Jimenez.

Hundreds of people were gathered along West Street when the shootings occurred. The youngest victim is a 17-year-old who sources say is on life support.
