National Weather Service Has Issued Winter Storm Watch

Syracuse, N.Y. - There's a Winter Storm Watch in effect for 6 counties in Central New York.

Onondaga, Madison, Oswego, Oneida, Wayne and Northern Cayuga counties are all in the path of this lake effect event.

The National Weather Service says some spots could see up to 10 inches by tomorrow night.

Hazardous conditions could impact some, starting this evening.

The storm could hit hardest right around the morning commute time with snowfalls of 1 to 2 inches an hour possible. Combined with the wind that will make visibilty an issue and a struggle for the plows to keep up.
