Jim Boeheim Pays Tribute To Basketball Legend Kobe Bryant

Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim remembers NBA great Kobe Bryant as the hardest working player he'd ever been around.

Boeheim was reacting to yesterday's death of Bryant, his teenaged daughter and seven other people in a helicopter crash in California. Boeheim coached Bryant on team USA to gold medals in the 2008 and 2012 summer Olympics. Syracuse native and WNBA star Breanna Stewart says Bryant was one of the first people to reach out to her after she suffered an Achilles tendon injury last year. Dave heard reactions from ACC Basketball Analyst Dan Bonner, Aviation Expert Jay Ratliff, and Fox's Matt Napolitano, among many others.

The Senate impeachment trial of President Trump resumes today. Trump's attorneys will continue the opening statements they started on Saturday. The House impeached the president a week before Christmas on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in the Ukraine scandal. NBC's Michael Bower offered his thoughts on what else the public can expect from this week's hearings.

And bogus rumors are circulating online as the coronavirus spreads in China and five cases are confirmed in the U.S. One rumor is a baseless conspiracy theory that the virus was created in a lab and patented and that a vaccine already exists. The coronavirus is blamed for at least 80 deaths in China, where it has sickened more than 27-hundred people so far. Dave spoke with NBC's Bill Zimpfer about the latest details of the rapidly spreading virus.

Miss a little, miss a lot.
