State Revokes License Of Psychiatrist Accused Of Having Sex With Patient

Albany, N.Y. - A Syracuse psychiatrist accused of having sex with a patient has had his medical license revoked.

The state Board for Professional Medical Conduct is accusing Dr. Clarence White of establishing an an inappropriate sexual relationship with a female patient he was treating while working at the Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca in 2017. The patient involved died last year.

The 44-year-old previously worked at at St. Joseph’s Psychiatric Emergency center.
