Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police confirm an officer was involved in a shooting on the city's northside this evening.
There is a heavy police response at home on Grant Blvd. in Syracuse where neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
The scene is near Woodlawn Cemetery on the city's northside on Grant Blvd. between Durston Ave. and Wheaton Rd.
One male victim has been transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital.
