Julie Abbott-Kenan Arrested Sunday Night

Skaneateles, N.Y. - Skaneateles Police say Onondaga County legislator Julie Abbott-Kenan who represents the 6th District, was arrested on Sunday night.

Abbott-Kenan was charged with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, in connection to a domestic incident. She was taken to County Jail, held overnight.

Police reports say she hit her husband in the face, broke his glasses and later took a metal baseball bat to his truck overnight.

Abbott-Kenan was elected in November to represent the 6th district, that includes the Towns of Skaneateles, Spafford, Otisco, Marcellus and parts of the Town and Village of Camillus.
