Sryacuse, N.Y. - The process in Robert Neulander's retrial is underway.
The Onondaga County DA's Office reports that Neulander will be back in court on November 8 for his first appearance in the retrial. It is anticipated that Neulander's second murder trial will happen in the spring.
The State's Highest Court released a ruling, upholding a lower appellate court's decision to throw out Neulander's 2015 murder conviction of his wife Leslie at their DeWitt mansion in 2012. Justices determined that one of the jurors exchanging text messages about the trial, as it was happening, was enough to grant the once prominent OB/GYN will be getting a new murder trial because of juror misconduct.
