Syracuse, N.Y. - If your weekend plans involve traveling on Interstate 81, there's some roadwork you need to know about.
Starting tonight, a pair of on-ramps to northbound I-81 will be temporarily closed. The affected sections are the on-ramp from Interstate 690 West onto I-81 and the on-ramp to I-81 northbound to Pearl Street. The ramps will close at 6:00 p.m. Friday and reopen by 2:00 p.m. Saturday
Detours will be posted to help drivers reach their destination.
