Blossvale Man Accused OF Threatening Son With Revolver

Blossvale, N.Y. - A Blossvale dad is accused of threatening his son with a revolver, prompting a standoff with Troopers.

State Police say that just after midnight yesterday Joseph Cromp Sr. barged into a home on Deeley Road. They say he pulled a gun on his 22-year-old son who was there with another man and ordered him out.

Cromp then took his son from the home and returned to his own house. His son able to escape. He called 911. Police showed up and waited outside of Cromp's home until he surrendered 12-hours later.

Cromp has a prior criminal record. He is being held behind bars at the Oneida County Jail.
