State Fair Day 6: Senior Day, Law Enforcement Day

The numbers are in, and dollar admission was great for Fair attendance.

Eyeing the all-time record, attendance for the 2019 Great New York State Fair is pacing ahead of last years record-shattering Fair.

Dollar admission saw the first Friday attendance record fall, with more than 237,000 attendees visiting the Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday.

Today is Senior and Law Enforcement Day. Those 60 and older along with current or retired law enforcement or corrections personnel get in for free. There is a special ceremony in front of the Horticultural building at noon.

Its also Maple Day and College Student Discount day.

Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits at 2:00 p.m. on Chevy Court, with American Country band Midland at 8:00 p.m.

CNY favorite Ruby Shooz performs at 6:40 p.m. on the New York Experience stage.
