Sodus, N.Y. - Opening statements are expected today in a double homicide trial in Wayne County
Timoth Dean is charged with murder in the shooting deaths last fall of Joshua Niles and Niles' girlfriend, Amber Washburn.
They were gunned down outside their home in Sodus.
Dean's wife, Charlene Childers, previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter. Investigators said Childers had lost a child custody battle with Niles.
