Utica, N.Y. - A little after midnight last night Utica police responded to a shooting involving a 10 year old.
Police responded to 1300 block of Lincoln Ave where the child was shot. The girl suffered a wound to her arm.
She was sleeping in her bed when a stray bullet ripped through her second floor apartment wall striking her.
Police found evidence of the shooting on the street.
The 10 year old is being treated and expected to be ok.
