New Video Shows Dangers Kids Face Getting On And Off School Buses

The Norwich School District is sharing a scary moment that could have turned tragic while a new bill works its way to Gov. Cuomo's desk to allow cameras be placed on school bus stop signs.

Hero school bus driver Samantha Call seizes a student at the exact moment where he would have been hit by a car illegally passing the school bus on the door side.

State lawmakers have struck a deal to allow cameras be attached to the swinging stop sign on the side of the bus. They'd be used to record drivers who pass stopped buses while kids are getting on or off. Governor Cuomo says he'll sign the legislation.
