The New York Times has gotten its hand on about a decade of President Trump's tax returns from the late 80s and early 90s.
They show that at one point Trump's real-estate empire was as much as one billion dollars in the hole. The losses show that Trump likely lost more money than any other individual tax payer in the nation during that time.
One of the President's personal attorneys say that the tax information is demonstrably false.
