South Bay, N.Y. - One person is dead after fire tears through a home in Madison County.
The blaze happened Sunday morning near the intersection of Routes 13 and 31.
The victim's name hasn't been released.
One person was also hurt trying to get back inside to save the person that was killed. There's no word on their condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
