Syracuse, N.Y. - A portion of W. Genesee St. in Syracuse is closed until further notice due to a sinkhole.
The 700 block of W. Genesee St., from Leavenworth Ave. to Van Rensselaer St., will be closed to traffic because of the sinkhole. Traffic will be rerouted onto Belden Ave. Detour signs are posted onsite.
It is unclear how long that portion of road will be closed.
