Kaloyeros Due For Sentencing In Buffalo Billion Bid-Rigging Scandal

New York - Sentencing is set for this afternoon for the former head of SUNY Polytechnic in the state bid-rigging scandal.

Doctor Alain Kaloyeros will find out how long he could spend in prison after being convicted of steering bids to certain contractors in the Buffalo Billion economic project.

His sentence will be handed down by the same judge who also sentenced his co-defendants -- Steven Aiello and Joseph Girardi.  In those cases, the Syracuse based COR Development executives were each sentenced to at least two years behind bars and a $500,0000 fine.
