Syracuse Woman Arrested For Food Stamp Fraud

Elmira, N.Y. - A Syracuse woman is facing felony charges after Elmira police say she was involved in food stamp fraud.

Investigators say 63-year-old Frances Jackson sent in fake documents to the Chemung County Department of Social Services for years.  All told, she ended up receiving more than $11,000 in food stamps she wasn't entitled to.  

Jackson was arraigned and sent to the Chemung County Jail.
