State Fair Day 10: Hanson (again), SU Day, Big And Rich!

Geddes, N.Y. - Yesterday was another big day out at the State Fair!

112,409 people came out to the Fair yesterday. It demolished the old attendance record for that day by just over 90-thousand.  The Fair is now running more than 73,000 ahead of last year's record setting year.

Two of the Hanson brothers from the 1977 comedy movie Slapshot will be on the grounds. Steve Carlson and Dave Hanson were real professional hockey players when they were cast for the film as two of the three Hanson brothers were playing for a struggling minor league team. They will be at the Exposition Center for a 6:30 p.m. screening of the film and a meet-and-greet with Fairgoers.
