On Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at about 4:11 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to 158 Lynwood Ave. for a call of a Shooting. Upon their arrival, they found two male victims in their twenties suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical personnel, who were on scene to assist determined that the victims were deceased upon their arrival. At this time, it does not appear that this incident was a random act. It is possible that the victims were targeted for an unknown reason.
There is no suspect information at this time. This investigation is in its early stages, but it is very active and ongoing. The identities of the victims are being withheld pending family notification. Further information will be released when it becomes available.
