A Rabid Fox Is Attacking People In Oswego County

Sandy Creek, N.Y. - There may be a rabid fox on the loose in Oswego County.

County health officials say the potentially rabid fox attacked three adults this week in Sandy Creek.  They are describing it as an aggressive gray fox.  

If you spot the fox call the DEC at 1-877-457-5680. If you believe you have come into contact with the rabid fox a call the County Health Department at  315-349-3564. If untreated rabies can cause muscle spasms, paralysis, coma, and even death.
