City Follows Through On Promised Crackdown During Storm

Syracuse, N.Y. - Mayor Ben Walsh is working to clean up the streets of Syracuse. 

This weekend 40 cars were towed for illegal parking.  On Friday, Mayor Walsh announced that police and public works crews would be cracking down and enforcing the City's parking rules and snow ordinances.  Many of the cars ticketed or towed had made it difficult for snow plows to clear streets.  

All in all nearly 500 parking tickets were issued.
