Syracuse, N.Y. - Two men are now are expected to be arraigned this morning after leading police on chase in a stolen minivan and fighting with officers.
Syracuse Police say that Purvis Mickle and Michael Kellam stole a 2006 Ford Freestar Sunday night. The call for the stolen van came in at about 10:40 p.m., and officers spotted the minivan little more than a half hour later. When police tried to pull the minivan over, the van sped off.
During the chase, Kellam jumped out of the car and police were able to quickly arrest him. Eventually, Mickle also got out of the van and run away. Police also say that he fought officers during his arrest.
The duo are being held at the Justice Center.
