Syracuse police arrest one man after a car chase led officers and a helicopter over two highways.
Police are not indicating where the chase started, but the suspect took officers over Route 81 and 690, with a helicopter tracking the vehicle's movements, and into the city of Syracuse. The chase ended between Richmond Avenue and Wall Street in the city. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene by Syracuse police. Police used stop sticks to force the driver of a stolen SUV to end the chase. Police have not identified the suspect as yet.
