Reward Upped For Info About Abused Pit Bull

Multiple animal rights groups have boosted the reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever abandoned an emaciated pit pull on Columbus Street in Syracuse.

The Animal Alliance of Greater Syracuse added $1,000 to the reward established by the Cuse Pit Crew, which now stands at $3,500.  Pit Crew members say the dog, who they have named Levi, was tossed out a car and left in a crate.  Levi has signs of serious neglect, and is being treated at Dewitt Animal Hospital Shelter.

Pit Crew and Animal Alliance of Greater Syracuse urge anyone with information about what happened to Levi to please call Syracuse Police at 315-442-5336.
