Syracuse Police Investigate 2 Weekend Shootings


Syraucse police are investigating two shootings over the weekend on Sunday, with no serious injuries to the victims.

Officers went to Upstate University Hostpital just before 2:30 am and learned a male had been shot in the arm and leg.  The victim told police he was in a vehicle in the 600 block of West Genesee Street when he was shot, and then he drove to the hospital for treatment.  The victim would not provide any suspect information, and police could not find evidence of a shooting.  Later that day, officers were sent to Crouse Hospital at just after 7:30pm and spoke to a male who was shot in the foot.  The victim reported he was shot in the 900 block of Onondaga Avenue a few minutes earlier, and did not provide suspect information to police.
