Bicyclist Hit By Syracuse Police Car In Critical Condition



A collision between a bicyclist and a Syracuse police car has sent the rider to the hospital in critical condition.

Multiple media reports say several first responders including police were responding to an emergency call just past 5pm Monday when the patrol car collided with the bicyclist at the corner of Tallman and Rich Streets.  One of the officers in the car tended to the victim while awaiting an ambulance.  Police officials say the victim is in critical but stable condition.  The two police officer suffered minor injuries and were treated at the hospital and released.  Names of the victim and police officers have not been released.
