Teen Trio Arrested for Possessing Pistol, Shooting Tree

Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse Police have arrested three boys for having a handgun and one of them shooting a tree.

Investigators say a person called 911 after spotting the boys passing a gun behind a tree and then one of them shooting the tree on Lincoln Ave Friday night. The 13-year-old and two 14-year-olds were found by police in a nearby home with a .38 caliber handgun.

The trio is facing weapons possession charges while one of the fourteen-year-olds is facing a charge of reckless endangerment, for shooting the tree.
