Folks who have cottages along the shore of Sylvan Beach are now forced to witness X-rated behavior in their own backyards.
Crazy beachgoers are using backyards as a public toilets and even worse, some visitors are even taking their clothes off and having sex in these backyards, in plain view of residents there Oneida County Undersheriff Rob Swenkowski says it's become a real problem and they're now trying to crackdown on this lewd behavior.
One 73 year old woman who witnessed sex and public urination in her backyard actually brought pictures of the lewd act to the village board. Other cottage owners have also witnessed drug use on the beach as well. By the time police arrive on the scene, the lewd conduct is usually over. Sheriffs Deputies have now increased their patrols at the beach for the summer.
