North Country Judge Sentenced To Prison For Asking For Sexual Favors

A North Country judge has been sentenced today after he was caught exchanging sexual favors from defendants.

Paul Lamson was a judge in the St. Lawrence County Town of Fowler and he's been sentenced to two to six years in prison. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says Lamson was providing beneficial rulings to defendants in his courtroom in return for sexual favors.

This case comes of the heels of another recent case where a Jefferson County Village Justice was arrested on similar charges. Delmar House was sentenced to four months in jail for soliciting sexual favors from defendants in his courtroom and in return he would reduce their fines.
