Hancock Airport in Syracuse has now opened a new facility for nursing moms.
Airport officials have opened what's called a series of baby care and lactation rooms just beyond the security checkpoint.
The rooms are being provided to accommodate families with nursing mothers and parents with infants who who like a private room to care for their baby.
The rooms are furnished with a chair and ottoman, a baby changing station and electrical outlets for nursing moms that are pumping. Airport officials say they simply want to provide some of the comfort of home.
